Adventure & Expedition
It's safe to say that we've been integral to at least one world recording expedition or adventure every year since Captive Minds was founded in 2003.
The first expedition we became involved in was led by Bear Grylls, who then held the title of the youngest Britain to climb Everest. Our former office in Battersea was to become the Expedition HQ for The Transatlantic Arctic Challenge where we helped to break the world record for crossing the Atlantic Arctic in a Rigid-Inflatable-Boat (RIB).
The media coverage was tremendous and further expeditions have followed where we have acted on behalf of the brand sponsors to ensure the event runs smoothly and the resulting coverage is secured.
We spent two years employed by the New Zealand Government to help save Sir Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton's Huts in the Antarctic. We received support from most of the British adventure community who recorded messages of support.
We've worked with The Royal Geographic Society on numerous occasions for adventure related events, and to secure historical materials from their archive.
For the last 3 years, we've worked extensively with David Hempleman-Adams on his projects. David was the first person to achieve the "Adventurers Grand Slam" of reaching the Geographic and Magnetic North and South Poles as well as climbing the highest peaks in all seven continents.
We also consult and advise a number of upcoming explorers on their forthcoming projects.
Captive Minds has become the leading integrated agency in the field of expedition and adventure - delivering an unrivaled level of specialist knowledge and expertise. Should your brand be interested in learning more about future adventure opportunities, do get in touch with us.
